Join us for our second talk of the Winter 2019 semester!  Lisa Chilton, a Wilson Institute Associate and professor of history at the University of Prince Edward Island, will present a paper titled Nativism, Migration, and the People’s Will: Democracy and the Practice of State Power in Canadian History. This talk is part of our Democracy, Citizenship, and Freedom series — a series that serves as a lead up to our spring 2019 Wilson Workshop, The Realities of Democracy. This talk will take place at the Wilson Institute for Canadian History (LRW 2001). All are invited. Refreshments will be served.
